Italian Stromboli

For the Dough:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Flour for dusting

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced Italian deli meats (such as salami, pepperoni, and ham)
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
