Ingredients Needed For Peanut Butter Brownies

These brownies are very easy to make and do not require too many ingredients. If you bake keto recipes often, you probably already have almost all the items on hand.

Almond Flour

Almond flour makes up the base of this recipe and acts as a flour substitute, making these brownies both low-carb and keto-friendly.

Cocoa Powder

Unsweetened cocoa powder is the perfect way to achieve dark and rich brownies. This ingredient lends a touch of bitterness as well, which helps to balance out the other sweeter flavors.

Salt

Salt is a small but crucial ingredient if you want a balanced flavor in your baked good. It has a magical ability to balance out flavors, complementing the sweetness of the dish.

So, don’t forget to add it!

Baking Powder

Baking powder is another important ingredient that is going to give the almond flour a hand. It acts as a leavener that will help these brownies be light and fudgy and not overly dense.

Butter

Butter adds richness to this peanut butter brownie recipe and helps everything to come together as it should. The fat content helps the brownies to be crispy on the outside and fudgy on the inside.

Eggs

Eggs help to give the brownies structure and lift and keeps them from becoming dense and dry. They are an important ingredient if you want them to be soft and fudgy.

Sugar Substitute

You will want to use your favorite keto sugar substitute to sweeten these brownies. Depending on how much sweetness you want, you can always change up the measurements slightly.

Vanilla Extract

Vanilla extract really works well with peanut butter and chocolate in this recipe. It adds a bit of softness to the flavor profile and enhances the sweetness.

Baking Chips

You can use your favorite keto friendly-baking chips in these low-carb brownies. I love ChocZero chips because they are sugar-free, high quality, and delicious!

Chocolate chips add extra chocolatey goodness to these brownies, while peanut butter chips bring that nutty flavor everyone loves. Both make this recipe richer, adding a bit of sweetness too.

With their flavors combined, these brownies will be extra decadent!

Keto Peanut Butter

You will want to use your preferred brand of keto-friendly peanut butter for this recipe. Any keto brand will do and yield the same results.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is an optional ingredient that you certainly do not have to use if you don’t want to. If you do have it on hand, however, I would highly recommend using it. It helps a lot with the texture, creating a better end result.
