 Prawns marinated in Thai green curry paste, cooked in luxurious coconut cream, and finished with a hearty squeeze of lime to pacify your palate with fine flavors and texture.

How to make our Thai Green Prawns keto recipe?


  • 300 g prawns (peeled and deveined. Thaw if using frozen)
  • 2 T Thai green curry paste
  • 50 ml of coconut cream
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 bird’s eye chili, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking

For the Thai green curry paste:

  • 3 green chili
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 lemongrass stem
  • 1-inch galangal
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 t dried shrimp paste/1 t fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup of coriander/cilantro, roughly chopped with stalk.
  • 1/2 lime grated and juiced
  • 1/2 t coriander seeds
  • 1/2 t cumin seeds
  • 2-3 white peppercorns
  • Water, as needed


  1. – Add all the ingredients listed under Thai green curry paste in a blender and blend into a smooth paste.
  2. – Marinate the prawns with the green curry paste for 15 mins.
  3. – Heat oil in a pan. Add shallot and saute till it softens.
  4. – Stir in the prawns and saute for 2-3 mins.
  5. – Add the coconut cream and season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for another minute.
  6. – Stir in the Thai chili (optional) and turn off the heat. 
  7. Serve finished with a squeeze of lime.
