Are you team mayo or team ranch for blts? I’m a fan of both but I put mayo on this one.
Recipe for the Chicken Bun
- 6 oz ground chicken
- 1/4 cup mozzarella
Seasonings of your preference
I used:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp minced onion
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions for the Chicken Bun
Preheat oven to 400F. Mix all ingredients and then add to baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape into 2 buns sized piles. Bake for 20 mins (make sure it reaches internal temp of 165F)

Notes:
I took my buns out of the oven after 15 minutes and fried them in the bacon grease for 1-2 mins on each side.
Then I threw the top one on the grill for like 15 seconds just for the aesthetic vibe lol.
If you do fry them in the bacon grease don’t forget that this will add some fat so the macros will be different.
